Workshops Terms and Conditions
Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before booking a workshop.
By completing your booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted the following Terms & Conditions.
-
1.1 Booking Confirmation
Your place is confirmed once your payment has been successfully received. All workshops have a limited number of participants, so bookings are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
1.2 Prices
All prices are shown in Euro (€), unless otherwise stated.
1.3 Your Booking Information
Please make sure all the information you provide during booking is accurate. If anything changes before the workshop, let me know as soon as possible.
1.4 Booking for Someone Else
If you're booking on behalf of another person, it's your responsibility to make sure they receive these Terms & Conditions and agree to them before attending the workshop.
-
2.1 Minimum Age
Workshops are open to participants aged 18 or over.
2.2 Health & Fitness
Photography workshops often involve walking, standing for long periods, working in different weather conditions and exploring public locations.
By booking, you confirm that you're physically and mentally able to take part. If you have any medical condition or injury that may affect your participation, please seek appropriate medical advice before booking.
2.3 Respectful Behaviour
I want every workshop to be an enjoyable experience for everyone involved.
Participants are expected to behave respectfully towards the group, members of the public and the workshop leader throughout the experience.
If someone's behaviour is unsafe, disruptive or inappropriate, I reserve the right to ask them to leave the workshop without a refund.
2.4 Local Rules
Participants are responsible for following local laws, photography restrictions and any safety instructions during the workshop.
-
3.1 If You Need to Cancel
If you're unable to attend, please let me know as soon as possible.
If I'm able to fill your place with another participant, I'll gladly refund the payment you've made, minus any payment processing fees.
If your place cannot be filled, your payment will be retained. Workshops are intentionally kept small, and every booking directly affects the organisation of the experience.
3.2 Transferring Your Place
If you can't attend, you're welcome to transfer your booking to another person, provided that:
you notify me by email before the workshop;
the replacement participant is at least 18 years old;
they agree to these Terms & Conditions.
3.3 If I Need to Cancel or Reschedule
Occasionally, a workshop may need to be cancelled or rescheduled due to circumstances beyond my control, such as severe weather, safety concerns, illness or other unforeseen situations.
If this happens, you'll be offered either:
a place on a new workshop date, or
a full refund of any payments you've made.
3.4 Travel & Accommodation
You're responsible for arranging and paying for your own travel, accommodation, meals, insurance and any other personal expenses related to the workshop.
Because travel plans are separate from the workshop booking, I strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance and choosing flexible or refundable transport and accommodation whenever possible.
If a workshop is cancelled, I cannot reimburse any travel or accommodation costs you may have incurred.
3.5 International Workshops
For workshops held outside your home country, you're responsible for ensuring that you have the required passport, visas, travel documents and meet any local entry requirements.
-
4.1 Understanding the Risks
Photography workshops take place in real-world environments, which may include uneven terrain, busy streets, changing weather conditions and other situations outside my control.
By participating, you acknowledge and accept these inherent risks.
4.2 Personal Belongings
You're responsible for your own photography equipment and personal belongings throughout the workshop.
4.3 Personal Responsibility
While I'll always do my best to help and support you throughout the workshop, I cannot accept responsibility for:
personal injury, illness or accidents;
loss, theft or damage to personal belongings or photographic equipment;
delays, travel disruptions or circumstances beyond my reasonable control.
-
5.1 Workshop Photography
During the workshop I may occasionally take photographs or short video clips for future educational or promotional use.
5.2 Use of Images
By attending the workshop, you agree that images or videos in which you may appear can be used for promotional, educational or marketing purposes. Your own photographs always remain your intellectual property.
5.3 Opting Out
If you'd prefer not to appear in any photos or videos, simply let me know by email before the workshop and I'll be happy to respect your preference.
-
6.1 Programme & Itinerary
The workshop itinerary and daily schedule may change if I believe this will improve the photographic experience or if circumstances such as weather, public events, safety considerations or access restrictions make changes necessary.
The workshop focuses on developing photographic skills rather than visiting fixed locations; therefore, no specific locations or photographic opportunities are guaranteed.
6.2 Educational Nature
The workshop is designed as a practical educational experience rather than a guided sightseeing or photo tour. Learning takes place through observation, practical shooting, discussions, image reviews and individual feedback.
