Cookie Policy

This page explains what cookies I use on this website, why, and how you can manage them.

What are cookies

Cookies are small files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site work properly, and some help me understand how visitors use it or show relevant ads.

The cookies I use

Necessary cookies

These are required for the website to function — for example, to load pages correctly and process bookings or payments. They can't be switched off, as the site wouldn't work properly without them.

Optional Analytics and Activity Log cookies

I use Squarespace Analytics, including Activity Log, to understand how visitors use the site, which pages are read, how people find the site, and which pages get the most interest. This information is aggregated and doesn't identify you personally. Where these tools use non-essential cookies, they are only activated with your consent through the cookie banner.

Advertising cookies (Meta Pixel)

When I'm running an advertising campaign, I may use the Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram) to understand how people find my website after seeing an ad, and to show relevant workshop information to people who have already visited the site. This is only active when I'm running a campaign, and only with your consent.

Your choices

Necessary cookies are always active, as the site needs them to work. Analytics and advertising cookies are only set if you accept them through the cookie banner when you first visit the site.

You can change your mind at any time — most browsers let you delete or block cookies in their settings, though this may affect how parts of the site work, such as checkout.

Third-party cookies

Some cookies are set by external services I use, including Squarespace and Meta. Their own privacy policies explain how they handle this information:

For more on how I handle personal information in general, see my Privacy Policy.
